INFORMATION ON THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA (Pursuant to Art. 13 of the European Regulation No. 679/2016)

This information is provided in accordance with Article 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 and describes how the personal data of users and visitors to the website www.sicab.it, www.wifisurvey.it and all websites owned and operated by Sicab Telecomunicazioni S.r.l. (hereinafter also SICAB or Company) are processed.

The Data Controller is Sicab Telecomunicazioni S.r.l., Via W.A. Mozart, 47 – 20093 Cologno Monzese (MI).

SICAB will collect and process personal data voluntarily provided by users of the SICAB website in full compliance with the provisions dictated by EU Regulation No. 679/2016 (GDPR). Users may be asked to provide limited personal data in order to enable the management of the service offered by SICAB. Once collected, the data will be processed and used exclusively according to the purposes indicated through individual disclosures issued within the internet pages of the SICAB website in accordance with Article 13 of the GDPR. The collected data will be stored in line with the most advanced levels of security and protection and for the time required by the applicable legislation or indicated in the information notice. PRIVACY POLICY 

SICAB, as the Data Controller, is aware of the importance of ensuring the security of private information that may come to its attention when a user visits its website. Since SICAB’s objective is to protect the privacy of its users, it hereby wishes to share the purposes and methods of processing personal data that it collects when you browse the site. SICAB informs users that the personal data provided for the purposes of registration to the Website, as well as for the purposes of the provision of services made available through the Website, will be processed in accordance with EU REG. 2016/679 of April 27, 2016, on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter the “Regulation”).

Collection and processing of personal data

The personal data voluntarily provided by users, through electronic data collection forms in the sections of this site or the voluntary sending of electronic mail to the addresses indicated, are used for the sole purpose of performing the service or provision requested and may be communicated to other parties exclusively for activities strictly related and instrumental to the operation of the service or provision requested. Other than what has been described so far, personal data will not be communicated to third parties or disseminated, unless contractually provided for or expressly consented to by the subjects concerned.

SICAB processes the above personal data exclusively in connection with:

  1. requests for articles, newsletters, invitations to events, seminars and/or enrollment in distribution lists related to the same;
  2. request for information about the Company and/or contact requests;
  3. sending personal data for job offers and/or collaboration with the Society itself;

Data related to resumes sent spontaneously to the dedicated address.

Personal data contained in resumes will be used solely for the purpose of evaluating the profile of candidates and selecting them.

Please do not provide any “special” data except those that you consider absolutely essential in order for SICAB to properly evaluate your application. “Particular” data are considered to be personal data that may reveal, by way of example, racial and ethnic origin, religious, philosophical or other beliefs, political opinions, membership in parties, trade unions, associations or organizations of a religious, philosophical, political or trade union nature, as well as personal data that may reveal your health status and sexual life.

In the event that a curriculum vitae is sent containing “special” data, the curriculum vitae must contain its explicit consent to the processing of such data, failing which the curriculum vitae will be permanently deleted within 14 days.

Methods and logic of processing

Personal data are processed by automated and non-automated means only for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected and will be managed by SICAB or by third parties appointed for this purpose as SICAB’s data processors. Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorized access.

Optional provision of personal data

The user is free to provide the personal data reported in the electronic data collection forms in the specially prepared sections of the website. It should be noted, however, that failure to provide them may result in the impossibility of performing what has been requested.

Rights of Data Subjects

Among the rights recognized by the GDPR to the data subject are those of:

  • request confirmation as to whether or not their personal data is being processed,
  • access to the personal data concerning him/her and in relation to them the right to request their rectification, erasure (right to be forgotten),
  • request the restriction of processing in the cases provided for by the norm,
  • request the portability of personal data -provided- in the cases indicated by the norm
  • object to the processing of one’s own data and, specifically, the right to object to decisions concerning him/her if they are based solely on automated data processing.

In the event that you believe that the processing of your data violates the rules of the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Guarantor pursuant to Article 77 of the GDPR. Minors

SICAB does not process any data of minors under the age of 16 (sixteen).

Changes to this Policy

SICAB periodically checks its policies regarding privacy and security and, if necessary, revises them in relation to regulatory, organizational or technological changes. In the event of a change, the new version of this Privacy Policy will be posted on this page of the site.

This cookie policy explains the types of cookies on SICAB’s website, the purpose and methods of their use, and provides guidance about actions to refuse or delete any cookies on the site. This policy together with the Privacy Policy provides guidance on the processing of user information that accesses the SICAB website.
